Small Controllers - C6__ Family
The C6__ Controller family is designed for applications where installation space on the machine or plant is a premium, and the application requires a rugged simple distributed system for data acquisition or control. It is suitable for small volume applications where reliability and support needs (speak to an engineer, not the dazzle sales staff) outweigh saving a few dollars on electronics hardware. It is very suited to mobile applications, and we have other supporting products suited to 12V installations. C601 Base PCB - 9S08AW32 Processor PCB This processor card was developed for small distributed machine control. C602 Power / Comms PCB - Isolated Power Supply and Isolated RS485 This Power and Communications Option Card suits the C601 Processor PCB (Left Option Card). Flyback Isolated Power Supply Isolated RS485 (the RS485 is on the Power In Supply)
C606 Option Card PCB - Isolated Inputs and EEPROM This IO Option card was developed to cater for extra inputs that would be isolated from the Processor Supply. Suits the C601 Processor PCB. Has the capacity to use optically driven Fets for 2 Outputs. C790 Small IO Controller The C790 is primarily designed for monitoring applications. Enclosed in a Hammond 1591T enclosure, with cable glands. 4 Inputs, 2 DPDT Relay Outputs, Robust Power Supply, Full Input Protection, Molex Mini Jr Connectors. Applications Include: Process Sensor Monitoring Voltage, Current (4-20mA), PWM Event Timing and Sequencing Over and Under Speed Detection Temperature Controller Level Filling Controller Battery Monitoring / Protection The Technical Features List: 9S08AW32 microcontroller on broard, you can use codewarrior special edition to develop firmware, you can use P&E USB ML-12 programmer (needs an interface card, see the bottom of the page) on board voltage reference (LM4120) on board temperature sensor (LM60) 10 bit A-D on all 4 inputs Schmitt trigger waveshaping to timer inputs All inputs can optionally have opto coupling fitted 2 relays on the PCB Relays can be 16A SPDT or 8A DPDT types A asynchronous UART and IIC is available on the programming connector (some expansion is possible) Externall wiring connections using Molex Mini Jr connectors Filtered 12V and 5V power available on the Molex connector for external sensors on Board Power Management (operates off a wide range of power supply voltages, particularly suited to 12V installations)
