Industrial Isolator

Compliance with the LAW
Any reasonbale risk assessemnt shows our design fit for sale, and a significane improvement in compliance with the law and functional safety.

Common external wiring faults result in the plant remaining on a safe state.

Gas Sensor interface integrated into Isolator.
Isolator opens automatically on legislated gas levels.
Any reasonable pre emptive risk assessment shows the clients existing product was unfit for sale.


Common Wiring Fault (open cirucit) results in isolator "stuck ON".

Gas Sensor not integrated into isolator, only a warning to the operator.
General

Time to Manufacture - Manufacturing Test System
Depending on the requirements, we develop automatic/semi-automatic testing systems / jigs as we develop the product.

Any delay to manufacturing from acceptance / verification testing is normally very short, and mainly relates to improving the testing software so that lower cost / lower skilled persons may operate the testing.
Test System development starts after product development has completed initial acceptace / verification testing.

Depending on the complexity of the tests involved, and the records to be kept, that can add a significant delay before manufacturing can commence.

We have seen entire projects fail at this stage.
Product Design

Medical Instrument
1 year (3 days / week) to full 60601 and EMC compliance

We helped relook at the requirements specification in conjunction with implementation strategies.

We proposed a new implementation strategy quite different to the existing design culture used.
We addressed the clients perceived risks in the new strategy by providing cut down proof of concept models.

We provided a complete new hardware design and low level firmware ready for acceptance testing and design verfication.
